A greyhound can be purchased for as little as a few hundred pounds. Kennel and training fees, charged by trainers vary per trainer. Winners prize money for Graded races ranges from £45 to £60. All named owners receive a pass which entitles them to free admission to all meetings held at Shawfield Stadium.
